02 Growth with selected talented students

The Summer Camp aims to promote academic communication and cooperation between outstanding students and to stimulate their enthusiasm for study and research. All students are required to pass an entrance examination organised by the school, which tests their academic standards and examines their academic potential.

03 A fully residential academic summer camp

In addition to daily classes, there are morning and evening study sessions supervised by teachers, to help students understand the learning content every day and strengthen their knowledge through intensive training. In addition, boarding arrangements will also help children to be more independent and develop their time-planning skills. Students will have the opportunity to live and learn on the beautiful British-style campus with quality facilities.

04 Whole-person education and development of children’s overall abilities

The summer camp programme is both rich in content and flexible in its approach, with an emphasis on developing students’ hands-on and interpreting skills. The content of the courses is closely integrated with real-life problems, which is highly practical and interesting. The courses in physics, chemistry, and computer science are mainly experimental, guiding students to discover and summarise and improve their scientific literacy. Public speaking and interpretation skills will also be enhanced through speaking and debating practices.

05 Final presentation and Certificate of Completion

At the end of the programme, students will present what they have learnt in every course. To ensure high-quality presentations and keep track of the students’ learning, the presentations will be prepared throughout the programme so that students can review and deepen their understanding all the time.

In addition, all students will be awarded a Dipont KCS Chengdu Summer Camp Certificate of Completion for all students after participating in all the programme activities, and those with outstanding performance will receive a Certificate of Excellence. The school has also prepared a warm Closing Ceremony for the students to celebrate their growth!
